How can users be assigned to designated groups?

Users are distributed into the groups via the "member of" tag.

This tag is given to the users to be imported in the POST request "Create or update multiple users at once" and enables the assignment of the users to the groups intended for them.

For the successful assignment of users into groups, a separate tag must be created for each group with the key "member of", the role of users in the group, and the value of the "External ID" of the group.
